A Heuristic Self-Operated Mechanism for Optimizing a Robust Disaster Relief Logistic Scheduling

Researching clustering-based Differential Evolution (DE) in terms of meta-heuristic mechanisms hybridization with Evolutionary Algorithm. To develop a self-operated Differential Evolution algorithm which is able to determine the appropriate parameters regardless of the types of vehicle scheduling problems. Among the research motivations are:

Develop: A prediction algorithm with Evolutionary Algorithms to determine the shortest path that a relief effort could be implemented should there be major disasters occurring, such as floods and earthquakes.
Evaluations: Simulation model before the improvised algorithm could be used to optimize the real logistic distribution.

Applying Information Retrieval & Extraction techniques in retrieving text data from bilingual news resources. The accumulated data is compared between each other respectively in terms of word similarity and semantic values. The end product is used to evaluate Precision & Accuracy rates.
Accomplished task:

Mini dataset for Malay news text collection (Astro Awani, Berita Harian, Bernama)
Prototype system to retrieve the text entity and comparison of word similarities. Interface on functionalities such as word similarity comparison & data scraping.
Project developed in JavaScript, jQuery, xHTML, SQL, PHP

This section highlights my most active research works. Currently I'm deep with Vehicle Routing Problem with Genetic Computation, mainly involving disaster relief logistics scheduling. Previously immersed with Differential Evolution & Natural Language Processing.
