Farid Morsidi

Majoring in the field of Computer Science, with specialization on pattern recognition analysis, Evolutionary Computation, and Computational Intelligence. During the duration of my postgraduate studies, I've involved in various fields involving Artificial Intelligence. My Masters of Science (Information Systems) were mainly focusing on Natural Language Processing, Regular Expression (Regex) Algorithm, and several classification heuristics such as Support Vector Machine and Word2Vec. My research work involved incorporation of programming scripts based on Python, Java, PHP, and Javascript. For my PHD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence), I'm researching on the effects of implementing shortest path estimation based on strategic customer clustering with routing heuristics incorporating savings heuristic and route relocation in order to maximize route optimality. My research work during this stint involved various studies for investigating route complexity effects on cost optimality, among these included shortest path heuristics for aggregating customer-depot clustering, and implementing ideal routing heuristics for better estimation of relief deployment for flood-prone locations in Sarawak region. I've been a research assistant on-and-off during the entirety of my postgraduate studies, among the research skills that I've deeply involved in includes programming, web development, data mining, algorithm tuning, mobile app development, and data analysis. Furthermore, I've also been involved in many side projects such as journal publication and proofreading.
